Mammoth Spring, Arkansas
This small town is located in Fulton County in Northwest Arkansas. Its many great restaurants include Fred's Fish House, Riverbend Restaurant, Sonic, and Spring Dipper Ice Cream. The Mammoth Spring State Park has a walking loop around the spring. There is also the city park which is a big playground. The Roseland Inn is owned and run by the Mayor of Mammoth Spring, Jean Pace. The Bed and Breakfast has a total of thirteen rooms, a dining room, a kitchen, two living rooms, four bedrooms, one full bathroom, one half bathroom, an entry hall, a screened in patio, and a gazebo. The Bed and Breakfast has all of the appliances needed except for a washer and dryer. Every morning the mayor brings muffins and has breakfast with you. Mammoth Spring's largest attraction is in fact, the spring. Over 335,000 guests visited the State Park in 2014. There are fishing guides all throughout town and there are many fishing points on the Spring River. There is great canoeing, kayaking, rafting, and floating down the Spring River. There are State and National fish hatcheries and a brand new Aquatic Conservation Center which has many aquarium-like tanks open to the public.
